I thought there was no way listening to my body (and not a diet or plan) could mean that I could lose weight and experience a form of food and body freedom that was honestly so, well, freeing. To finally feel at ease around food (i.e. no guilt or obsession), and not body check myself 100 times a day, and to actually like the reflection staring back at me.
