These candy pretzels are stuffed with mini Snickers bars and drizzled with white chocolate and patriotic sprinkles. The perfect easy holiday dessert.
Sweet and salty may possibly be one of the best combinations out there. Just take this cranberry orange pistachio granola for example. It has the perfect mix of sweet from cranberries and white chocolate, but also a little bit of salt from the pistachios.
These patriotic candy stuffed pretzels aren’t any different. You get the sweet from the candy and white chocolate, but the salty from the pretzel.
Not only are these festive pretzels fun to eat, but they take hardly any time to make. The thing you’ll spend the most time on is unwrapping all the mini candies.
How to make candy stuffed pretzels
Stuffing the pretzels
This part is pretty simple. You just need pretzels {the snaps work the best because they really hold the candy nicely}, and candy. Almost sounds too simple, doesn’t it?
I went with mini Snickers, because they’re the perfect square size to fit on top of the pretzel. But go ahead and choose your favorite mini candy bar.
Place a mini candy bar on top of each pretzel and bake for about three minutes. Then the candy is gooey, but not so much so it’s melted off the pretzel.
Lightly press down on the melty candy bar with another pretzel, and you’re done stuffing!
See, it seriously couldn’t get easier than that.
Decorating candy pretzels
While the combination of sweet caramel and chocolate plus salty peanuts and pretzels would be amazing on their own, we’re going to the next level.
Drizzling melted white chocolate over the top just makes these candy pretzel bites absolutely irresistible.
Dust with your favorite patriotic sprinkles on top, and you’ve got the easiest popable patriotic dessert ever!
These cute little pretzel bites were gobbled up at a friend’s birthday party because they’re just so easy to eat.
Making extras is a must, because guests are going to ask for more, trust me!
